designbar’s owner Monika Nessbach combines her European heritage, her strong educational background (B.A Business Management & MBA in General Management); her professional experience and her life-long passion for art & design into a foolproof recipe for creating modern and contemporary environments that will go beyond your imagination.

She draws inspiration from a range of life experiences. Growing up amidst German architecture & modern design she developed a feeling for modern aesthetics early in her life. Influenced by extensive travel throughout Europe and later on to more exotic destinations such as Russia, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and North America she developed a style that is unique, fresh and different.

In the past years she worked tirelessly to realize her dream of becoming an interior designer, which came true in 2009, when she opened her own design firm “designbar”.  Projects such as a the complete modern remodel of a 2-story townhome paired with kitchen and bedroom projects and consultations within her circle of friends got her to where she is today.  

Being a true German perfectionist she will not tire until her clients are absolutely stunned, happy, and satisfied with the result.
