The recycle center that sorts for you! Simply scan the barcode and the appropriate lid will open

Can recycling bins really be cool and modern and not just functional? What about using up all the valuable space that you don’t have? After various discussions about this topic among friends and family I am on the search for the coolest recycling bin that doesn’t use a lot of space, can be used outdoors (withstand rain and heat) but still looks modern and trendy. So far, no luck. That is when it comes to the feature of being outdoor patio friendly. However, I stumbled upon a few links that caught my attention. One of which I am posting below. I have to say, being from Germany, the recycling kingdom, I thought I have seen a lot. Yet, the world of recycling has come a long way. Did you know that there even is a recycling bin with barcode ability that opens the appropriate recycling bin when scanning the trash item’s barcode. Amazing!

Why invest in a cover if it can be painted? I love the colors and you can customize based on your style and design

But hey, as cool as the recycle center is, it doesn’t fit into my kitchen. Booo!

I have to admit, I am a color fanatic. You can imagine that I was thrilled to see the painted trash cans to the right. What a cool idea. I can make it unique, match the colors I use in my outdoor decor and have a conversation piece for my guests (my kitchen connects to my outdoor patio).

I think this is what I’ll be going for – let’s see how my personalized version will look like. Pictures are going to be posted asap.
