Alyce is thrilled to join the Designbar team as the Executive Assistant. She thrives in creative environments while bringing ease and simplicity to daily operations. She has an extensive background in performance art, dance, and yoga. Creating, teaching, and leading programs, retreats, workshops, and classes for movement and personal development. Her workforce career ranges from operational logistics and accounting assistant, to high-level customer service for various companies. Alyce has always expressed a deep LOVE for fashion, design, and creation, which shows up in her expression of style through statement pieces, interior home design, and in the theater through costume and set design. It feels natural to bring her passion, style, and energy to Designbar and she is excited to create a foundation of personal growth for the team that contributes to raising the bar of excellence for Designbar’s overall mission.

When not at Designbar you will find Alyce moving… Dancing professionally with Moving Poets and Movement Migration or with the Loves of her life around town. Teaching ballet, modern, improvisational/intuitive movement, and various class styles of yoga. Creating as the visionary of ‘Discover Your Pura Vida’ - Adventure, Cultural, and Yoga Retreats in Costa Rica and founder of ‘Be Vida, Discover Movement,’ where she uses her bold ability to listen intuitively, feel and take consequential risks into the unknown to empower others to trust themselves, lead with love and connect heart to heart. She recently graduated as a Lightyear Certified Coach and is excited to offer 1:1 and group coaching. Alyce was honored to lead Designbar through a Vision and Goal retreat resulting in an elevated vision and goals for the company. 

Alyce’s most empowering and challenging role is Mama to her daughter, Amelia Jean. It is through Amelia’s eyes of wonder, discovery, and curiosity for the world that inspires Alyce to make every day an adventure full of LOVE!
