THE COWFISH CHARLOTTE

The Cowfish has never been interested in blending in. For the renovation of its original Charlotte restaurant, the goal was to evolve the guest experience without losing the quirky, disruptive personality that made the brand a destination.

The restaurant redesign introduces a smarter spatial layout with distinct social zones, from communal party tables to more intimate seating. Improved flow supports operations, while bold material contrasts, layered textures, and unexpected details give the interior its swagger.

And then there’s the burgushi.

Cowfish’s unlikely pairing of burgers and sushi became part of the interior design story itself: Western Americana meets Asian influence, warm leather meets jade-inspired greens, familiar meets unexpected.

For restaurant owners and hospitality groups, renovating an established concept is a balancing act. The space has to work harder without designing away the brand equity guests already love.

The Cowfish Charlotte does exactly that: same wonderfully weird DNA, sharper experience.
