Emily Keane

Interior Designer

Emily is an interior designer and emerging design creative originally from Boston, MA.

A recent graduate (2023) of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Emily approaches design through an art-driven lens, SCAD’s program having been decorated with more No. 1 rankings than any other university.

Spending formative years in the hospitality and restaurant industry, including time at her family’s historic Italian restaurant The Venetian, developed a deep appreciation for hospitality in all forms and cultivating socialization through the built environment and experiential design. Deeply motivated by hand sketching and in-person collaboration, Emily values design as a tactile, human-centered process. Sketching serves as a primary tool for exploration and communication, allowing ideas to evolve organically, while face-to-face connection fosters a deeper understanding of client needs and spatial storytelling.

Emily holds a WELL AP certification (2025), reinforcing a commitment to health-focused, sustainable, and people-centered design. In 2024, she was recognized as a Top 30 Under 30 Interior Designer by Interior Design magazine, an honor highlighting emerging voices shaping the future of the industry.

When out of the studio- you can find Emily in the outdoors, working out, curating Spotify playlists, listening to live music, or trying out local restaurant spots for inspiration and snacks.

Emily’s Design POV

  • Favorite Piece of Furniture

My dream furniture piece to own would be an antique mid-century record player cabinet. I love that era of design, and am a music buff who loves to entertain, what can I say?!

  • Favorite Design Style

Eclectic maximalism is my favorite. Mixing textures, patterns, and vintage pieces I think allows for a lot of creative freedom. Spaces feel even more lived-in and personalized when they’re filled with art, funky finds, and unique pieces.

  • Bucket List Experience

I grew up snowmobiling in the White Mountains of New Hampshire since I was around 2 years old. How young is too young to be on a snowmobile? No such thing. I want to someday snowmobile through Yellowstone National Park with my uncle and father.

  • Dream Celebrity Client

Adam Sandler. The “Sandman” for sure, if his design tastes are as interesting as his fashion sense, it would be so much fun to work with him.
